Activity Report for the First 11 Months of the War (First Year)
This report reflects the main work carried out during the first 11 months of the full-scale war. During this period the activities were focused on civilian evacuation, training of military units, consulting organizations, and educating civilians on how to act in conditions of destroyed infrastructure and high threat levels.
Civilian Evacuation
Dozens of people were evacuated from the Kyiv region under direct threat. The work included operational route planning and actions in extremely dangerous conditions. Evacuations were carried out from the areas of Dmytrivka, Irpin, Bilohorodka, and villages around Mriia. Some of the practical experience gained during this work was later transferred into guides and materials available on the website.
Unit Training
Based on previous experience, training was conducted for early Territorial Defense formations and certain units of the regular army operating in the Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Mariupol, Severodonetsk, and Kharkiv directions. The work included consultations on small unit operations, preparation of small teams, security audits of frontline and rear bases, adaptation of field tactics to the realities of modern warfare, and implementation of these skills within active units. Security line audits, evacuation route planning, and operational algorithms for small reconnaissance groups in field conditions were also developed. Training ranged from macro and micro situation analysis to operations in urban environments.
Consulting for Organizations
Numerous consultations were conducted for organizations on creating safer operational environments and functioning under severe shortages of energy and water. Evacuation algorithms for staff and operational protocols depending on threat levels were developed.
Civilian Preparation
Thousands of civilians received training in basic home defense and basic preparation prior to joining the regular army.
Personal Security Training
Hundreds of people were trained in algorithms for protecting themselves and their families in chaotic environments, including potential threats from criminal groups and possible terrorist attacks.
Facility Security Audits
Dozens of facilities were audited for security and protection during shelling. Assistance was provided in designing shelter systems using available resources when proper shelters were not available.
International Cooperation
Cooperation with colleagues from Western countries helped adapt modern operational protocols to the realities of the local war. Separate work was conducted to adapt these algorithms for civilian populations to minimize civilian casualties.
Autonomy Consultations
Dozens of individuals and families received consultations on maintaining autonomy in conditions of destroyed infrastructure.
Many people survived thanks to this work.
